2024 Event Highlights

In July 2024, we partnered with Ed Murtagh from Friends of Sligo Creek to organize a weed warrior workday right along the brand new Northwest Branch Trail in Northwest Branch Recreational Park. Ed made a timelapse video of a few warriors liberating a large tree from giant bittersweet vines, 

On May 19, 2024, NNW joined Weed Warrior friends from Rockville, led by Monica Berger, to free hundreds of trees from large bittersweet vines in the area of the soon-to-come disc golf course at Northwest Branch Recreational Park.
