"In 2023, the Native and Non-Native Invasives Committee began a multi-month project to protect native plants and wildlife at Burnt Mills East Special Park. Team members pull non-native invasives, such as honeysuckle, oriental bittersweet, and wineberry, in order to let native plants thrive. On 07/08/23, our Native/Invasives Plant Committee began a long-term project at Burnt Mills East Special Park and pulled oriental bittersweet.
